Poems
Conquered, Conquering, Will Conquer By Diondre Tindal
I’ve been here before, time and time again,
Just send a prayer up above and I know, we know that’s a win.
Faith without works is dead, so we question him instead.
Rely on others to feed us knowledge when it’s already fed.
I’ve been here before, time, and time, and time again.
I’ve conquered.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Trouble, hardship, sleepless nights?
But yet I rise, but not on my own,
He provides the armor and shield, I just protect his throne.
I’ve been here before time and time and time and time again.
I’m Conquering.
But yet I fight a good fight, then fight some more,
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demon,
Neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
Neither height nor depth,
Nor anything else, in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord that I adore.
Will Conquer.
Yet I’m fully dressed, battle stance,
God has given me another chance, after another chance and another chance.
But this time I’m not alone, never was on my own.
We’re stronger, wiser and better than before,
My fellow brothers and sisters, it’s time for war.
Conquerors.

We Are Conquerors by Matea Tindal
We fight our battles inward, and out
And with faith he can help us, without a doubt.
These battles cannot be conquered by faith alone
We must work for it to make them our own.
For some of our lives may have pains, sorrows, and sadness
But once we ascend from the Earth, we shall be filled with gladness
We are soldiers with enemies to fight
They are evil, wicked, and filled with spite.
They are invisible and they lurk in the dark
They hide so well and they can take over our hearts
They can disguise themselves as angels and deceive us
But after we overcome the last enemy, we shall become victorious
Our last enemy, Death, overcame Him at the cross
But he could not be held, for Death was at a loss.
He over came Death’s power
And became a conqueror at that hour
There is no enemy that we will meet that has not been conquered by Jesus
So we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Some of us cannot overcome the enemies or bear
Most of us will and the sounds of triumph we will hear.
We know that we must not fall into sin
But evil is around us, we have evil within
We must overcome it, we must be rulers
He has conquered all sin so we could be conquerors.
We fight our battles inward, and out
And with faith he can help us, without a doubt.
These battles cannot be conquered by faith alone
We must work for it to make them our own.
